Friday Fictioneers: Puzzled by Fascination
“Aren’t these wonderful? Wow!” Her daughter bends over to examine the paintings in awe.
She says nothing. The truth is, she’s miserable. What am I doing here? She keeps asking herself. Why is my daughter so interested in this stuff. She’s not an artist. She can’t draw to save her life.
She’s trying to spend time with you, you idiot. Another voice speaks in her mind. Smile, don’t be a sour-puss.
Reluctantly, she forces the corner of her lips to curl upward as she follows her daughter to the man at the table. She’s so fascinated by this stuff, why?

I feel so late to the game but I have been feeling pretty uninspired the past few days as the result of an ear blockage which may or may not had been due to an infection in my gums and sinus. Before you say it might be a build-up of earwax, I’ve checked and cleaned my ear with my endoscopic ear picker (ear picker with a tiny camera).

Share Your World – Week of November 8, 2021
How many pillows do you sleep with? If over one or two, is it because you sleep better ‘propped up’ a little?
I only sleep with one pillow nowadays and I’m still on the market to search for a better pillow than the one I currently have. It’s too low for me. I tried sleeping with 2 pillows but that’s too high.
What would be the worst thing you could put in a piñata?
Though I’ve never had a piñata, I think the worst thing to put in it would be rocks and boulders because, well, that’s just mean.
What noise annoys you the most?
I’ve complain a lot about the plane noises while I’m trying to work or conduct a work meeting. While some would argue this is a costly noise, I would still argue this is annoying. This is one of the two noises that annoys me the most, the other is a baby’s cries. Even through a television, hearing the sound of a child’s cry of anguish annoys me to hell.
If cartoon physics suddenly replaced real physics, what are some things you would want to try?
