Would you rather be a super nice person and be depressed all your life, or be happy and a total *sshole?  (Credit goes to Cyranny for this question, aired on one of her “Cyranny’s Quickies” posts.)

#AtoZChallenge 2021 Reflection

It’s hard to believe April is done, isn’t it? Another month wrapped in 2021. Soon, May will be over and then June, July…and before anyone can say another word, it would be time once again to put out those pumpkins and sitting by the door anticipating trick or treaters.

#WeekendCoffeeShare: Spring Concerns

Photo by Jason Wong on Unsplash

Good morning, come on in and have a coffee with me. Actually, let’s go out to the backyard. It’s hot outside – 78-degree-Fahrenheit (about 26-degree-Celsius). It’s actually the last warm day for the week. It’s supposed to drop back down to the 60’s tomorrow.

#AtoZChallenge 2021 – I have a Vivid Imagination

“I dreamt you were an ax murderer,” I told my mom once. I think I was around eight or nine. She had immigrated to the U.S and began calling me every weekend. She laughed and I could feel her rolling her eyes on the other end of the line. To this day, she still reminded me of what I said whenever I tell her I’ve written a good story.

#AtoZChallenge 2021 – I am Tolerant

Having been raised by my mom and her family most of my life, I often call myself the black sheep of her family.

CFFC: Shiny

I was on a field trip last Sunday on a quest to search for spring and what did I find, a bunch of kids chasing bubbles. It’s been a while since I’ve blown bubbles but I think this is so much better. Let the breeze carry the bubbles.

#AtoZChallenge 2021 – I am Klutzy

Photo by Toa Heftiba on Unsplash

I am pretty klutzy, period. My mom used to singsong “clumsy, clumsy girl” whenever I fell down as a little girl. I think I fell because my mind was somewhere else, at least that’s why I fell and scraped my knees the last time, which was about a year ago.
