The drawing was blinding. I couldn’t even touch it, let alone look at it. This is what I spent $500 for? I was expecting scandalizing photographs, detailing all those mysterious hours my husband has spent away on his so-called “work trips”. I was definitely not expecting this.

It’s been a while since I’ve checked my all-time stats. The image above was snipped on January 1, 2021 and I was amazed to see how many countries I have traveled through this blog since 2013. I feel surprised and humble that you all have decided to check out this blog and follow me even though I write about the most ridiculous things sometimes.
I did not even imagine anyone was going to read what I write when I started this blog and I certainly did not think of getting an official domain. If you haven’t noticed, the blog URL is now https://thisisanotherstory.com/. I decided to take the plunge and get a domain name a few months ago.
Before I return to my Monday work, I know I probably don’t say this enough, THANK YOU FOR VISITING.
I love macros. They are so exotic and different and really only can be seen either with a magnifying glass, a dedicated macro lens, or in my case, a good ol’ regular camera lens with a screw-on macro filter. These filters are tricky to use sometimes as everything must be completely still and as you can see from the below photo, it only magnifies a specific area of the image while blurring the rest.
Since the pandemic began in March 2020, I had not had the opportunity to photograph with my macro lens filters as I was being driven by work and anxiety to the point I had somewhat lost my muse and inspiration to make photographs. I hope to make some in 2021 as it’s looking like spring might be coming early. Therefore, please enjoy some pre-pandemic photos. These photos were from the beautiful spring of pre-pandemic world of 2019.
Another fun challenge I thought I’d give it a try: Fibbing Friday. I know, I’m a day late. Whatever. You may think telling a lie is easy but I actually found it quite hard. I hope you enjoy my answers.
