A Photo a Week Challenge: Unexpected
I spent this past week traveling and on the first day of my road trip, while I was walking along the Fremont River in Capitol Reef National Park, I spotted something moving in the trees. At first glance, I thought it was an owl. I have no idea what made me think of that. I was about to point and whisper-shout, “Owl,” when I realized it was just an ordinary fatty of a squirrel.

It is very rare to get a quiet day without my mom and the jet noise from the air force base. It’s one of those rare days I get to just focus on nature.
Now onto Day 2…

Hands on his knees, the prince panted breathlessly. Boy, I must be more out of shape than I realized. He thought and glanced behind him proudly. He smiled. 10 miles hike, not bad for an out of shape guy.

Would you rather be a super nice person and be depressed all your life, or be happy and a total *sshole? (Credit goes to Cyranny for this question, aired on one of her “Cyranny’s Quickies” posts.)

It’s hard to believe April is done, isn’t it? Another month wrapped in 2021. Soon, May will be over and then June, July…and before anyone can say another word, it would be time once again to put out those pumpkins and sitting by the door anticipating trick or treaters.

Good morning, come on in and have a coffee with me. Actually, let’s go out to the backyard. It’s hot outside – 78-degree-Fahrenheit (about 26-degree-Celsius). It’s actually the last warm day for the week. It’s supposed to drop back down to the 60’s tomorrow.
